NATIONAL CSR DEVELOPMENT PORTAL

National Corporate Social Responsibility Data Portal is an initiative of National CSR Development Application Portal to establish a platform for disseminating information regarding online applications related to Corporate Social Responsibility filed by registered entities.

The concept of Corporate Social Responsibility is governed by Section 135 of the Companies Act, 2013 ('the Act'), Schedule VII to the Act and the Companies (CSR Policy) Rules, 2014 which provide criteria for assessing the CSR eligibility of companies, implementing and reporting on their CSR policies. India, which has the most comprehensive CSR mechanism and implementation policy, has embarked on a journey to set a benchmark for sustainability goals and stakeholder engagement in nation building.
